Valencia International Airport is served by low cost airlines from most European cities. Most intercontinental flights arrive at Barcelona or Madrid. Travel from the airport to Valencia city centre takes ~ 15/20 minutes by taxi. (costs ~ 20 €). There is also a direct underground line connection (see map at http://www.metrovalencia.com ).

By Train
There are trains every hour from Madrid (Atocha) or Barcelona (Sants Estación) train stations to Valencia Estación del Norte. The journey time is 3.30 h from Madrid and 3 h from Barcelona (it is highly recommended to book and buy your train tickets in advance, electronic tickets available at http://www.renfe.es).
